4 X 4 Emergency Vehicles

Salem Kroger offers 4X4 conversions on type I, II and III ambulances and rescues as well as city and rural fire trucks. Ambulances are converted with an eye toward durability and patient comfort. All ambulances are test driven at 80 mph in 4X4 to ensure no vibration. We use standard components in our conversion to keep down time to a minimum.

Adjustable shock absorbers and heavy duty sway bars are a popular option. Other options include tire and wheel packages, winches and/or tow hooks.
The most important things are to build a vehicle which fits your needs, drives right and has minimal down time.
